Explore the intersection of podiatry and forensic science through the study of footprint evidence in criminal investigations.
This session examines current research on the biomechanics and individuality of human footprints and reviews scientific methods used in comparative footprint analysis. Real-world criminal cases highlighting the role of footprint evidence in linking suspects to homicides will be discussed.

PRESENT Pacific Conference
The program focuses on the latest surgical procedures, advanced wound care technologies, vascular interventions, as well as dermatology of the lower limb, biomechanics, biologic therapies, off-loading, and compression therapy techniques.

Desert Foot
This in-person program focuses on best practices in limb salvage, advanced wound care, and management of lower-extremity disorders. Attendees will learn alongside colleagues from federal service, the Veterans Administration, the Department of Defense, and private practice, among others.
A hallmark of the meeting is its rotating, interactive workshops, where participants gain hands-on training in surgical procedures, wound care innovations, and emerging technologies.
